I have five investment accounts and unfortunately, for the time being, Prudential is one of my accounts. Prudential provides by far, hands-down the worse customer service of all.
Specifically, I have had a problem with my account for four weeks now. Almost daily, I have called Prudential. Every time I call, Im told oh someone from tech support will call you back. Inc648**** No one ever calls back.
Abhorrent service. Dont invest via prudential.
Use a real investment company that values your business and you as a customer. Take your money elsewhere.

Terminated the pension .
March 2024 : Called Customer Service to inquire where the March pension check was. Told that 3 prior pension checks were uncashed and that halts the payment cycle.
Inquired how they handled this very accommodating policy for folks who have surgery and cannot travel to the bank. No response to that of course. Stated a ticket had been initiated so that the check would be reissued.Called on April 5th to locate the April check, was told nothing will be processed until May and then all 3 check will be issued at once. Rules for thee, but not for me.
At no time in March was I informed that the process would take 90 days and then some. Something tells me the company is not in good financial shape if they have to hold on so dearly to my $160 monthly check. Purpose of the delay? Evidently to see seniors go homeless or in debt while the funds are withheld.
Draw your own conclusions, but my experience has been inferior.
None of the customer service reps can communicate in English, so apparently they are hiring illegal aliens probably for $7.50 /hour. What happened to everything Prudential used to be ?

Did a 20k down payment loan to help. paid 15k back in 3 months.
but they admin charge or what ever. owe 16k still.

They stole money
I went to deposit Thirty thousand Ghana cedis and after they counted they told me there was a shortage of one hundred and seventy seven cedis which I know it isn't possible

Customer service was a waste. Client needed information a.s.a.p.
Client ask for information on August 9, 2023. Called, sent fax, called again.
No response.
Client is in Nursing home and will lose her state assistance without the information.

Dragging their heels paying out after my mother died.excuse incorrect paper work received from bank did you contact the executor to let them know.you DID NOT after waiting & waiting had to ring & then notified of problem.correct paper work sent. expecting payment within 10 working days .three weeks on, ringing them again we don't have the paper work,Yes you do!!
Oh yes we do but took 8 days to log it on the system! We'll up date you you in 72 hours.

I have been a Prudential Life Insurance customer for well over fifty years. I own six life insurance policies.
I have been trying for over four and a half years to get someone from Prudential to go over my Life Insurance polices with me. The people that they (Prudential Ins.) provide to me, only want to sell me some annuity and or other financial product and if I am "Not" interested, then they are "Not" interested in helping me with my current life insurance polices. It appears that if they can't steal your hard earned money, they don't want to do business with you.
How sad, but that seems to be the current policies at Prudential. And by the way, their "Customer Service Office (800) 778-**** is located in South Africa and NOT here in the United Sates.

Preferred solution: The name of a professional who can help me go over my six life insurance policies without trying to sell me some other money stealing investment from Prudential Ins.

I had opened my account back in the 1970s.

Impossible to accomplish anything on the website, forcing you to call -- where you end up with a rude clueless agent. I'm cashing in my variable life policy asap, don't want my spouse to have to deal with these people at my death.

Horrendous Customer Service
Online access to my annuity account just disappeared. Called for days .
Only people from India or South Africa as I begged for someone in the US. They say "ok" but lie. One person told me that the account has never had online access.
